About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and implement architectural solutions that ensure the delivery speed and scalability of data pipelines
Lead the adoption of managed and serverless cloud offerings to create performant and scalable cloud-native application solutions
Drive best practices for advanced ETL/ELT workflows, data governance, and data quality across platforms
Serve as a technical leader, defining and enforcing data security and access control policies across all data pipelines and platforms
Ensure robust systems across heterogeneous technology environments and BI integrations

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of industry experience as a hands-on practitioner in Data Engineering
Extensive cloud platform experience (e.g., 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure)
Mastery of Python and advanced proficiency in SQL (TypeScript/JavaScript/Java a plus)
Extensive experience designing and building robust CI/CD pipelines and managing Infrastructure as Code
Deep expertise in ETL/ELT process optimization, dimensional data modeling, and data security best practices
Expertise in 3–5 major cloud and data platforms and exposure to all (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, and Fabric)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
