About the role
- Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for client and internal meetings using established templates and tools.
- Capture meeting outcomes by summarizing key decisions, updating action trackers, and supporting follow-up activities.
- Support project coordination by helping keep timelines, milestones, and deliverables on track alongside the Director and project team.
- Review client deliverables for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and formatting to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Provide short-term coordination support when Project Managers are away, with clear guidance and team support.
- Conduct external research and summarize insights to support client projects and internal learning.
- Develop and document processes, insights, and procedural information in clear, accessible formats.
- Contribute to client-facing and donor-facing materials (e.g., proposals, stewardship content, documentation, business rules).
- Support internal initiatives including documentation updates, process improvements, and light reporting.
- Participate in annual planning and help refine project frameworks and internal processes.
- Assist with materials for business development and client communications as needed.
Requirements
- Experience working in project-based and client-facing environments, ideally within consulting, marketing, or other cross-functional roles where deliverables and timelines are essential.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, with the ability to adapt as project needs evolve.
- A willingness to learn and expand your skill set, with support from leadership.
- A strong sense of ownership over your work, knowing when to ask questions or seek guidance.
- An ability to review and quality-check deliverables, ensuring they meet requirements and client expectations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate and pivot when goals shift.
- Reliable workload management skills, including meeting timelines and proactively communicating needs.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, slide decks, and word processing tools.
