About the role

  • Provide support in the acquisition and retention of customers in all market segments
  • Ensure the quality translation of communications and marketing/educational materials into Spanish
  • Establish and maintain BCBSNC terminology/translation database
  • Lead and participate in Spanish enrollment meetings and community events
  • Translate and/or transcreate language for marketing materials, member guides, letters, and educational materials from English into Spanish
  • Interact enterprise-wide to provide necessary translations
  • Make proactive recommendations on additional materials that should be translated
  • Manage overall project development, including project schedules, work assignments, budgets, and reports
  • Manage vendor relationships on behalf of the company

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
  • 3+ years of experience in related field
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field
  • NC Life and Health Agent’s license (or be able to obtain within 60 days of employment)
  • American Translators Association (ATA) English to Spanish Certification (or be able to obtain within 1 year)
