About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer enrollment and eligibility accurately and timely to ensure seamless healthcare access for members
- Collaborate with team members, vendors, and cross-functional departments to resolve inquiries
- Document actions taken across multiple systems
- Navigate complex data, extract insights from various systems, and apply business and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in meetings with internal and external group contacts and account representatives
- Provide guidance and support to the team, vendors, and customers
- Manage a wide array of activities and responsibilities
- Detect discrepancies and identify Membership workflow improvement opportunities
- Communicate workflow improvement opportunities and escalate issues to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Perform additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the role, as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous work experience
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully in daily interactions
- Ability to actively listen, understand instructions, and adapt messaging for team coordination
- Ability to identify routine issues, gather relevant information, and implement straightforward solutions with others
- Ability to organize assigned tasks, follow priorities, and manage time accurately and on schedule
- Prior insurance, healthcare, or enrollment experience
- Strong customer service focus and ability to convey technical information in a user-friendly manner
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally
- Strong presentation and/or facilitation skills
