Join us as an Outsourcing Artist on an exciting, unannounced project, where you''ll play a key role in shaping immersive game environments. In this position, you''ll work closely with talented teams to bring imaginative worlds to life, collaborating and contributing your artistic skills to create memorable experiences for players everywhere. Work Location: This position is classified as hybrid, requiring onsite presence in the office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Remote work arrangements are eligible for consideration. Responsibilities Support external environment art production through pipeline support, documentation, resource packaging, content creation, asset polish , and integration . Collaborate with internal and external art teams to ensure high-quality environment art under the guidance of the s enior o utsource s upervisor. Aid in providing clear, actionable feedback from concept to final 3D execution, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with the project’s art direction. Support best practices, quality control, and a cohesive visual style across all environment assets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in game development.\nStrong foundation in traditional art principles, with expertise in light, shade, color, and detail.\nProficient in hard-surface modeling, foliage/organics, PBR materials, and level art kit creation.\nExperience with AAA game engines and content pipelines.\nPreferred Qualifications: Passion for games, the craft of environment art, and supporting others.\nProficiency with the use of production tracking tools such as Shotgrid / JIRA / Airtable.\nSubmission Requirements: Cover letter (required). Portfolio showcasing relevant environment art skills (online submissions only, e.g., website, blog, or album).
