About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Planning, architecting, and developing Shopify apps, plugins, and API integrations
Full-stack development with modern frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, Express, TypeScript) technologies
Integrating third-party systems via REST and GraphQL interfaces
Ensuring performance, code quality, and scalability
Implementing responsive and accessible UI components
Conducting code reviews, testing (unit, integration, E2E) and debugging
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and technical documentation
Collaborating with Design, Product, and QA to build products from the ground up

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience: Minimum 5 years in full-stack development.
Tech stack: Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React (Next.js) and Node.js (Express).
Infrastructure: Comfortable with databases (SQL/NoSQL) as well as Git, Docker and CI/CD.
Methodology: Solid knowledge of API design, security (OAuth) and performance.
Shopify (Plus): Ideally familiar with Polaris, webhooks and GraphQL.
Soft skills: Structured working style, takes ownership and responsibility, fluent in German (and good English).
