About the role
- Planning, architecture and development of Shopify apps, plugins and API integrations.
- Full-stack development using modern technologies on the frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, Express, TypeScript).
- Connecting third-party systems via REST and GraphQL interfaces.
- Ensuring performance, code quality and scalability.
- Implementing responsive and accessible UI components.
- Performing code reviews, testing (unit, integration, E2E) and debugging.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines as well as technical documentation.
- Collaborating with Design, Product and QA to shape products from the ground up.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of full-stack development experience.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React (Next.js) and Node.js (Express).
- Proficient with databases (SQL/NoSQL) as well as Git, Docker and CI/CD.
- Solid knowledge of API design, security (OAuth) and performance optimization.
- Ideally familiar with Polaris, Webhooks and GraphQL.
- Fluent in German and good command of English.
