About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide assistance to the broader SMA Advisor Support team in handling daily activities
  • Onboarding new intermediaries, review of Turnaround Times
  • Key contact point for all technology-related rollouts
  • Coverage of the SMA Operations hotlines
  • Managing and assigning requests from the Operations Master Queue
  • Exercise sound judgment researching, resolving, and responding to client inquiries
  • Producing and distributing ad-hoc Salesforce monthly or quarterly reports
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to provide exceptional service for existing and prospective clients
  • Document and maintain processes to enhance the client experience
  • Update addresses and contact information in Salesforce as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services preferred, ideally within an operations role
  • Attention to detail - demonstrable track record of client service and operational excellence in a client facing or operational internship
  • Strong client relationship management capabilities - capable of rapidly building strong, effective, and trusted relationships and networks
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, energizing and inspires others to seek higher levels of performance
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and make decisions with incomplete information
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly including the ability to draft clear, concise, client-ready messaging
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Proficient level of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
