About the role
- Oversee fleet operations and equipment logistics to ensure trucks, equipment, and materials are available, maintained, and efficiently supporting field operations.
- Coordinate transportation of equipment and materials between job sites
- Manage fleet scheduling and availability
- Supervise drivers and equipment operators
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs
- Maintain compliance and inspection records
- Ensure DOT and safety requirements are met
- Communicate with field teams on equipment needs
- Handle breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Track fuel usage, equipment hours, and costs
- Support hiring and training of drivers
Requirements
- CDL License
- Fleet or heavy equipment logistics experience
- Knowledge of construction equipment preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with DOT regulations
- Leadership experience
- Basic computer and recordkeeping skills
