About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the Project Art Director and Team Leads to execute the visual direction of a third-person sci-fi action game via a highly technical Unreal engine pipeline.
- Create high-quality hardsurface assets such as props and environmental set pieces.
- Produce clean, efficient models and materials suited for real-time workflows and optimized for gameplay needs.
- Iterate quickly on concepts, prototypes, and final assets in collaboration with design, animation, and tech art.
- Consistently deliver polished, production-ready work that enhances the overall quality bar.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality 3D environment art assets for games.
- Strong understanding of modeling, UVs, baking, and PBR texturing workflows.
- Experience in modular environment art creation and execution within a game engine.
- Proficiency with Substance tools (Painter and/or Designer).
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with Art Directors and cross-disciplinary teams.
