- Lead engineering leadership across the studio, managing technical leads across multiple projects
- Own hiring for key technical roles
- Drive technical assessment for partner opportunities
- Help set new projects up for success by establishing strong technical foundations
- Provide ongoing engineering leadership across the portfolio
- Partner closely with Production and project leadership to track technical risks
- Champion engineering standards and cross-functional alignment
Requirements
- Significant experience in game development in a senior engineering leadership role
- Managed technical leaders
- Comfortable assessing unfamiliar codebases
- Experience with both proprietary and commercial engines
- Set projects up well from the beginning
- Effective at stepping into projects facing emergent technical problems
- Strong people builder who enjoys hiring, mentoring, and leveling up technical talent
- Excellent communicator with internal teams and external partners
