About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As an Audit Assistant (m/f/d), you will work on a variety of assignments in the field of financial auditing and maintain direct contact with clients from different industries and of various sizes
You will be part of a team of around 150 colleagues that has grown over many years while remaining close-knit
In this role you will receive early responsibility, develop your professional skills and work closely with experienced colleagues from tax advisory and auditing
Participate in the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements
Support due diligence reviews and company valuations
Prepare audit reports and documentation
Handle special business management topics and tax-related issues
Contribute to the development of audit processes and digital solutions
Perform other tasks that you enjoy

Requirements

What you’ll need

A completed degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field (Bachelor or Master), ideally with a focus on auditing, accounting or taxation
Initial practical experience in tax or accounting (e.g., internships or student positions) is desirable but not mandatory
Structured, independent working style and willingness to learn new topics
Strong communication skills, reliability and good interpersonal sensitivity — both within the team and in client contact
DATEV experience is desirable but not required
