About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead architecture and design of enterprise-scale software solutions
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native applications
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Agile development teams
- Develop secure, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions
- Architect and implement Microservices-based applications and distributed systems
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and modern application integrations
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams
- Drive software quality through code reviews, testing standards, and engineering best practices
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Mentor development teams and promote continuous improvement
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools across requirements analysis, solution architecture and design, application development, testing, documentation, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support
Requirements
What you’ll need- 18–20+ years of experience as a Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Software Engineer
- U.S. Citizen; no dual citizenship
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- Experience supporting government, public sector, or large enterprise environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience leading Agile development teams and enterprise software delivery initiatives
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Java, React.js, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices Architecture, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, Git, and GitHub
- Practical experience using approved AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar enterprise-approved tools
- AI-assisted development experience must be clearly demonstrated in the candidate’s resume
- Experience using AI tools throughout the SDLC
- Strong experience designing cloud-native enterprise applications
- Extensive AWS architecture and development experience
- Deep understanding of Microservices patterns and distributed systems
- Experience with scalable API design and implementation
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Experience implementing CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices
- Ability to work independently and manage complex technical challenges
