About the role
- Own the long-term vision and architecture for Bizee’s intelligence platform, data models, events, pipelines, services, and real-time systems.
- Build a unified, event-driven foundation that powers automation, AI workflows, segmentation, and product decisioning.
- Create the semantic layer, governance model, and data contracts that enforce clarity and reliability across teams.
- Define and build the AI strategy that powers Bizee’s operating system, from generative interfaces to workflow automation to risk scoring and predictive actions.
- Partner with Product & Engineering to embed intelligence directly into customer journeys and operational workflows.
- Build the infrastructure that enables experimentation, model retraining, and scalable AI deployment.
- Lead the insights engine that informs product prioritization, growth strategy, and customer understanding.
- Build the systems that turn raw data into actionable insight, segmentation, LTV models, lifecycle behavior, funnel analytics, customer health.
- Create the experimentation framework for growth, product, and operations.
- Lead and scale Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and BI as a cohesive Intelligence organization.
- Establish standards for modeling, observability, data quality, and reliability.
- Ensure teams have clean, trusted, governed data that moves at the speed of the business.
- Partner with CTO, Product, Growth, CMO, CFO, and Operations to connect intelligence strategy directly to business outcomes.
- Build dashboards, KPIs, and insight loops that drive clarity for executives and operators.
- Shape company strategy through data-driven storytelling and forward-looking analysis.
Requirements
- 10+ years across Data, AI/ML, or Intelligence leadership within SaaS, platform, or high-scale environments.
- Experience building unified data platforms, event-driven systems, and scalable insight layers.
- Deep technical fluency in data engineering, ML, distributed systems, and modern data stack patterns.
- Proven ability to ship AI or predictive products in partnership with Product & Engineering.
- Strong leadership presence able to align executives, influence partners, and drive cross-functional adoption.
- Clear, strategic thinking with a track record of simplifying complexity into action.
- A builder’s mindset and bias for momentum; thrives in ambiguity and creates clarity through structure.
