About the role
- Collaborate closely with engineering, care, and compliance to deliver impactful projects
- Lead end-to-end design initiatives, from idea to polished delivery, and taking ownership for achieving their success
- Create mockups, prototypes, and high-quality visuals with exceptional attention to detail
- Use and improve our lightweight design system components
- Communicate design decisions with clarity, inviting feedback while holding a strong vision
- Contribute to set the bar for design quality and the culture for how design works at Bitstack
Requirements
- Proven track record of designing high-quality products in fast-paced start-up environment
- A portfolio featuring exceptional craft, taste, and problem solving
- Strong command of visual design, UI patterns, and interaction principles
- Experience with prototyping in Figma (and beyond with tools like AI)
- Ability to lead projects independently — from discovery to shipping
- Pragmatic mindset: you balance design quality with speed, business goals, and technical constraints
- Clear communicator who can distill feedback and articulate design decisions
- Bonus: You ship to production, perhaps with a little help from AI
