About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build the services behind the product, including APIs, data models, and integrations
Own shipped work from the first commit through production operation
Work with Product and Design to turn requirements into solutions that hold up under load
Write maintainable code with tests and instrumentation
Participate in code reviews
Help set architecture and engineering standards while they are still being decided

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years or more of professional experience
Strong Rust, Go, Java, or Kotlin skills; production Rust is a plus
Ability to design REST APIs with clear contracts and sensible versioning
Experience with AWS or equivalent, containers, and CI/CD
Fluency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, with judgment to evaluate their output
Knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, including ERC20, RPC nodes, and UTXO versus account models
Clear written and verbal English
Self-driven work style
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Nice to have: payment rails such as SEPA, SWIFT, or ACH, or card issuing
Nice to have: regulated fintech knowledge including PSD2, KYC/AML, and PCI DSS
Nice to have: crypto custody, on-chain settlement, and stablecoin flows
Nice to have: monitoring and analytics tools such as Sentry and New Relic
