About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a landscape installation crew on residential and commercial projects
- Execute landscape installations including hardscape, softscape, grading, drainage, and related scope
- Review project plans, specifications, and schedules prior to job start
- Ensure jobs are completed on time, within budgeted hours, and to quality standards
- Track labor hours and materials usage and report daily production
- Communicate job progress, issues, and change needs to management
- Train, coach, and develop crew members
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite
- Operate equipment and tools as needed
- Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly used and maintained
- Coordinate with other departments as required to support project success
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 or more years of landscape installation experience, with leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of landscape installation processes and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and details
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage jobsite productivity
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor
