About the role

  • Partner with senior leadership to support the long-term vision for the Birdbuddy brand.
  • Help define and evolve brand positioning, messaging, tone of voice, and communication principles.
  • Maintain and apply brand guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across teams.
  • Write clear, engaging copy and narratives that reflect Birdbuddy’s personality and mission.
  • Act as a go-to brand partner for internal teams, providing guidance and clarity on brand expression.
  • Develop campaign concepts, creative briefs, and core brand and launch materials.
  • Ensure visual and verbal brand expression is consistent across all customer touchpoints.
  • Own, organize, and maintain brand assets so they are accessible and used correctly.
  • Support go-to-market planning and execution for new products and updates.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality launch assets.
  • Help manage timelines, messaging, and creative development for campaigns and launches.
  • Work with Product to translate features and insights into compelling customer stories.
  • Collaborate with Growth on messaging across acquisition, retention, and lifecycle channels.
  • Partner with Design on packaging, identity systems, and communication materials.
  • Support Partnerships and Community initiatives, including co-branded activations and ambassador programs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or creative roles within consumer, lifestyle, or digital product companies.
  • Hands-on experience executing brand strategy, messaging, and campaigns.
  • Exposure to product launches or go-to-market initiatives.
  • Strong execution skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills with sensitivity to tone and audience.
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and incorporating feedback.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Thoughtful, curious, and confident in expressing brand opinions constructively.
  • Experience with community-led brands or ambassador programs is a plus.
