Own and improve our AWS infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, monitoring, CI/CD support)
Improve reliability: alerting, observability, incident response, runbooks, and postmortems
Drive cloud security best practices: IAM hygiene, secrets management, least privilege, audits
Lead AWS cost optimization: right-sizing, lifecycle policies, reserved capacity strategy, ongoing spend reviews
Support production operations and build tooling that reduces operational load for the team
Build and maintain backend services running on AWS
Improve scalability and performance of APIs and data flows

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
Backend engineering experience (e.g., building APIs/services, designing scalable components)
Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools and incident management practices
Track record of delivering pragmatic cost optimizations without sacrificing reliability
Comfortable working cross-functionally and owning systems end-to-end
Familiarity / Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform) and Kubernetes
