About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond to emergency calls involving biohazards, trauma scenes, unattended deaths, hoarding situations, and other hazardous environments.
- Perform crime scene cleanup, biohazard cleanup, decontamination, demolition, and remediation activities.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols.
- Document and photograph job sites before, during, and after remediation.
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and supplies.
- Demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and discretion when interacting with clients during difficult circumstances.
- Travel as needed to assist with emergency response projects throughout Texas and neighboring states.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Availability for on-call emergency-response and travel on short notice for multiple days.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in challenging environments and around unpleasant sights, odors, and contaminants.
- Ability to follow detailed safety procedures and company protocols.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
- Previous experience in restoration, demolition, construction, cleaning, remediation, EMS, firefighting, military service, or related fields is a plus.
