About the role
- Ensure the product vision and individual initiatives directly support broader company objectives and long-term growth.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate a transparent product roadmap that balances customer requests, technical debt, and innovative new features.
- Evaluate competing initiatives based on business impact and user value to decide what gets built and, crucially, when.
- Translate complex user problems into clear, actionable product requirements, specs, and PRDs.
- Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups, to keep the engine moving.
- Work side-by-side with Engineering and UX/Design to refine solutions, remove blockers, and ensure high-quality output.
- Plan and coordinate product launches, ensuring all technical and operational dependencies are met.
- Act as the "connective tissue" between Engineering, Design, Marketing, and other Product teams.
- Keep leadership and stakeholders informed through regular updates on progress, key metrics, and strategic shifts.
- Navigate the needs of various internal departments while maintaining a clear and focused product direction.
- Partner with Marketing on positioning and messaging to ensure new features resonate with the target audience.
- Gather post-launch feedback and iterate on the product to ensure we are constantly solving for the "manual tasks and risky errors" our clients face.
- Collaborate with Customer Support to prepare documentation, demos, and release notes that empower our users.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of Product Management experience, specifically within B2B SaaS or high-compliance industries.
- Agile Proficiency: Deep experience leading Scrum ceremonies and managing a high-volume backlog in Jira or similar tools.
- Exceptional Communication: Proven ability to present complex strategies to leadership and manage expectations across a diverse organization.
- Technical Writing: Strong ability to write detailed user stories, PRDs, and technical specs that require minimal "re-translation" for engineers.
- Experience using Canny to manage customer feedback and Pendo to analyze user behavior and drive in-app adoption.
- Experience building software for accountants, auditors, or legal professionals.
- A track record of taking a mature, high-retention product and finding new ways to add value without disrupting core workflows.
