About the role
- Produce new personal lines business (home, auto, renters, umbrella)
- Foster and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
- Anticipate and respond to existing client needs
- Establish and grow a referral network
- Represent the agency at community events
- Conduct needs-based consultations for coverage assessments
- Track sales activity and referral outreach
Requirements
- Hold a Minnesota insurance license
- Minimum of two years of personal insurance sales experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages
- Demonstrate understanding of rating procedures and underwriting procedures
- Proven track record of sales success
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to close sales
- People-oriented and customer-focused
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficiency with technology and computers
