About the role

  • Install, configure and maintain our BI and planning systems on Windows and Linux servers.
  • Support the setup and operation of cloud environments (e.g., Azure).
  • Contribute ideas for automation and standardization.
  • Manage updates, patches and system hardening/security.
  • Analyze incidents and performance issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Document changes and configurations.
  • Work closely with our BI consultants to set up and operate new solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with Kubernetes (preferably Red Hat OpenShift), Podman, Docker.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows or Linux administration.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Batch or shell scripts).
  • Experience administering client/server applications (e.g., databases, BI/analytics systems, ERP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases (such as Microsoft SQL Server).
  • Strong willingness to learn and interest in BI and planning systems; we will train you on IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
  • Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills.
