About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA
- Support development of communication, social, and self-help skills
- Collect and record session data
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Follow physical and safety requirements for each client
- Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Support families through meaningful, culturally responsive care
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, such as babysitting, tutoring, coaching, or teaching
- Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within the service area
- Consistent availability Monday–Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; F-1 students seeking OPT paid opportunities are welcome
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain one
- Completion of TB test, physical exam, and proof of vaccination
- Current RBT certification is not required
- Compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic
- Open to feedback and ongoing learning
- Adaptable when working with diverse families and communities
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
