About the role

  • Manage Oracle Database and SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance;
  • Perform backup, restore, and data recovery routines;
  • Monitor and perform database performance tuning;
  • Manage users, permissions, and security policies;
  • Support deployment, upgrade, and maintenance activities for database environments;
  • Identify and resolve incidents in production environments;
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams;
  • Participate in high availability and disaster recovery activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related fields;
  • Solid experience in database administration, focusing on Oracle Database (12c+) and SQL Server (2016+);
  • Administration of critical environments with high availability and contingency plans;
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard;
  • Availability to work 2 days per week onsite (Cidade Monções - São Paulo or Barra da Tijuca - Rio de Janeiro);
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 20:00;
  • Preferred: Experience with PostgreSQL (12+);
  • Knowledge of MongoDB;
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
