Structural Engineer – 4-Day Week

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Client consulting, structural calculations and cost estimation in the office in Dittersdorf near Schleiz
- Preparation of offers and structural calculations for roof structures in timber prefabrication (Abbund), timber frame construction or with nail-plated trusses
- Planning and supervision of construction projects while complying with technical and legal requirements
- Coordination of the installation team and technical support during the construction phase
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Civil Engineering, Wood Technology or a related field, alternatively a master craftsman (Meister) or technician qualification
- Initial professional experience in the planning and calculation of timber structures
- Good knowledge of relevant calculation and design software such as CAD and structural analysis programs
