About the role
- Database and DB environments health-checking
- Monitoring of DB backups, transaction logs archiving
- Provisioning and capacity planning
- Designing and implementing database structures, schemas, and tables
- Write, test, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures
- Support database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and performance tuning
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with developers to integrate databases with backend applications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or engineering
- Basic understanding of Oracle, MySQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
- Familiarity with object oriented programming
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
