About the role

  • Develop and maintain Looker models to meet business requirements
  • Analyze and optimize the performance of Looker models for efficiency
  • Design and build interactive Looker dashboards to support business decision-making
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support to BI teams, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of analysis
  • Collaborate proactively with other BI teams and influence BI team’s strategy and priorities
  • Support and train junior analysts, fostering an environment of growth and learning
  • Engage in complex and high-priority projects that shape business direction
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the business to ensure BI tools and processes align with strategic goals
  • Promote the production of reusable code and modules to streamline efforts and reduce development costs
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes across the BI platform, working closely with teams and subject matter experts

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proficient in SQL with the ability to write complex queries
  • Experience in data structure and supporting teams with data issues
  • Proven track record in proactively driving strategy and change within BI
  • Strong collaboration skills, working with Head of Departments and Senior Managers to ensure BI success
