About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own meaningful technical work end-to-end — from design through deployment
Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
Collaborate with researchers and ML engineers to ship high-impact features
Contribute to architectural decisions, not just implement them
Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code
Debug and resolve issues across complex distributed systems
Participate in code reviews and help raise the technical bar

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
Strong foundations in your core domain — backend, data, ML tooling, or full-stack
Proficiency in Python and fluency in at least one additional language (TypeScript, Go, Rust, SQL, etc.)
Experience working in production environments with real users
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to operate autonomously
Strong communication skills and collaborative working style
Genuine interest in AI, LLMs, or data-driven systems
Prior experience at an AI, ML, or data company (Nice to Have)
Familiarity with LLM training, fine-tuning, or RLHF pipelines (Nice to Have)
Experience with large-scale data pipelines or annotation platforms (Nice to Have)
Open-source contributions or published technical writing (Nice to Have)
Background working alongside AI research teams (Nice to Have)
