Executive Assistant – Relocation, Local Administration
BenreyExecutive Assistant supporting international employees in navigating French administrative systems and local bureaucracy. Key role in coordinating relocation and local administrative processes for expats.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide hands-on support to relocated employees, ensuring smooth settling-in in France
- Act as the main point of contact for all local administrative matters related to relocation
- Personally assist with and coordinate key administrative processes, including: social security registration (sécurité sociale) healthcare enrollment (mutuelle) residence registration and other mandatory local procedures
- Liaise directly with French authorities and institutions (prefecture, CPAM, banks, utility providers, etc.)
- Guide employees through local administrative requirements and, when needed, accompany or represent them in interactions with authorities
- Support practical aspects of relocation such as opening bank accounts, setting up utilities, and handling essential paperwork
- Coordinate with external advisors (legal, tax, immigration) when required and ensure proper follow-up
- Manage documentation and ensure all administrative processes are completed accurately and on time
- Handle ongoing administrative queries from relocated employees and resolve issues proactively
- Provide ad hoc executive support related to local administrative matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrative Specialist in France, ideally with relocation or expat support exposure
- Strong, practical knowledge of French administrative systems and processes
- Demonstrated experience interacting with local authorities and navigating bureaucracy independently
- Fluency in French is mandatory (both written and spoken)
- Fluency in English or Russian
- Highly proactive and hands-on approach — ability to “get things done” with external institutions
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases and follow processes through to completion
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex administrative steps clearly
- High level of ownership, reliability, and discretion when handling sensitive matters
