About the role

  • Serve as the future Traffic Practice Lead
  • Responsible for technical excellence, leadership, client development, and strategic growth
  • Lead the preparation of traffic studies and operations analyses
  • Prepare plan, specification, and estimate packages for traffic-related projects
  • Ensure deliverables are technically sound and compliant
  • Mentor project engineers and support proposal strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer in Civil, Electrical, or Traffic Engineering (CA PE required within 12 months if licensed in another state)
  • 10 years of experience in traffic engineering design, operations, and project delivery
  • Exceptional understanding of agency standards, traffic signal systems, lighting, ITS, signing, pavement delineation, and staging traffic control
  • Demonstrated leadership of staff, clients, and project teams
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
  • Ability to lead or oversee Synchro, SimTraffic, AutoTurn, VISUAL, AGI analyses
  • Ability to interpret and QC detailed traffic engineering deliverables
