About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct a variety of evaluations to aid in assessment, treatment planning and interventions
Support, advocate and link families to community resources to foster self-sufficiency
Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive individualized initial assessment and all service plans with goals and objectives
Attend and actively participate in all meetings with the Department of Child Services for the development of safety planning for assigned cases
Establish and maintain routine collaborative meetings with community partners
Document all case activity in accordance with program policy and maintain case records
Provide family advocacy as needed
Provide crisis intervention as necessary
Provide 24/7 on-call supports for all assigned individuals and families

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum Licensed as LMSW, LAPC, or LAMFT in the state of Georgia
One year experience providing outpatient mental health services to youth and families
Valid BLS, CPR, and basic first aid certification
Verbal de-escalation skills and physical management training certificate
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Preferred: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Georgia
Unrestricted license to work independently in the State of Georgia
One year of experience working in child welfare
Prior experience providing Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST)
Prior experience providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
