About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct a variety of evaluations to aid in assessment, treatment planning and interventions
  • Support, advocate and link families to community resources to foster self-sufficiency
  • Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive individualized initial assessment and all service plans with goals and objectives
  • Attend and actively participate in all meetings with the Department of Child Services for the development of safety planning for assigned cases
  • Establish and maintain routine collaborative meetings with community partners
  • Document all case activity in accordance with program policy and maintain case records
  • Provide family advocacy as needed
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary
  • Provide 24/7 on-call supports for all assigned individuals and families

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Licensed as LMSW, LAPC, or LAMFT in the state of Georgia
  • One year experience providing outpatient mental health services to youth and families
  • Valid BLS, CPR, and basic first aid certification
  • Verbal de-escalation skills and physical management training certificate
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Preferred: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Georgia
  • Unrestricted license to work independently in the State of Georgia
  • One year of experience working in child welfare
  • Prior experience providing Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST)
  • Prior experience providing Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
