About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assume overall leadership of large (re)construction projects within Real Estate solutions
Support external clients in (re)construction projects and preliminary analyses
Guide the programme of requirements regarding quality, budget and timing
Initiate and finalize the appointment of designers (architecture, technical disciplines/MEP, structural engineering, fit-out, interior design, safety coordination, etc.)
Organize and coordinate the tendering of contractors and suppliers
Market integrated design, construction and maintenance assignments
Lead and coordinate the project once the project team is formed
Obtain an approved design, planning permission or building permit, and a tender dossier with a detailed cost estimate
Mediate between the client and the project team using technical expertise
Ensure execution conforms to the tender documents, agreed budget and schedule
Ensure quality up to final acceptance and the handover of the building
Manage post-delivery follow-up and support any modifications or final accounts
Pragmatically resolve any potential disputes
Support relationship managers and commercial colleagues during business development
Promote the Building & Energy Advisory offering to existing and prospective clients
Contribute to the preparation of proposals and fee calculations
Maintain long-term relationships with clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferably French-speaking
Bilingualism is a significant asset
Architect or engineer by training
At least 5 to 10 years of professional experience in project supervision, preferably on the execution side of public projects
Proficient in specialized technical systems
Willing to take on energy-related challenges
Prepared to acquire financial, legal (including public procurement legislation) and tax knowledge if necessary
Assertive, dynamic, attentive, risk-aware and communicative both internally and externally
Able to work in a team and with a high degree of autonomy
Commercial mindset and client-oriented
Willing to work on projects across all provinces in line with language skills
