About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Select and evaluate projects (technical, financial and commercial aspects)
- Develop, present and negotiate proposals with the development partner
- Prepare and draft investment dossiers for the Belfius Immo Board of Directors
- Ensure accurate cost estimation for future projects
- Critically review plans and specifications
- Ensure project profitability and adherence to construction timelines
- Lead negotiations and meetings with all stakeholders (contractors, specialist subcontractors, brokers)
- Take responsibility for the technical, administrative and financial aspects of construction files
- Maintain precise project monitoring and follow-up, including periodic budgeting and regular progress reporting to management and the Board of Directors
- Actively manage sector knowledge: monitor the market and trends, regulatory developments and changes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Dutch-speaking with a good command of the other national language
- Master’s degree (architecture, civil engineering, law and/or economics)
- At least 5 years’ experience in residential real estate project development
- Experience in office, retail or logistics development is an advantage
- Additional training in real estate is an asset
- Knowledge of financial, fiscal and legal aspects
- Strong proficiency in Excel modeling
- Entrepreneurial mindset and risk awareness
- Rigorous in financial and administrative project monitoring
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously
