About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a sales strategy for tunnelling and mining applications in Switzerland mainly.
- Identify and build a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Contractors, Engineering consultants, Project owners.
- Promote Dramix® steel fiber solutions as an alternative/addition to traditional reinforcement.
- Identify and develop potential new applications with steel fiber concrete.
- Represent Bekaert in industry events.
- Manage the full sales cycle.
- Ensure proper follow-up on projects, pipeline and forecasting.
- Monitor project progress, payment follow-up and after-sales support.
- Act as trusted advisor for clients on SFRC design and applications.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to support structural design discussions and to develop project-specific solutions and testing programs.
- Represent Bekaert in technical committees and working groups.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in tunnelling, underground construction and/or construction materials related to concrete
- Master’s degree in civil engineering / structural engineering / tunnel engineering or equivalent
- Familiar with infrastructure building codes and norms
- Fluent in German & English, French is a plus
- Self-motivated and pro-active
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Team player as well as being able to work autonomously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A competitive mindset and a passion to win
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
