About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for performing quality control and testing tasks within a laboratory environment thereby ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of products or processes.
- Follow established procedures to prepare samples for testing.
- Conduct various tests, including physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses.
- Record test results accurately and maintain detailed documentation.
- Operate lab equipment and instruments, such as spectrophotometers, pH meters, balances, and autoclaves.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- Adhere to quality control protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor inventory levels of reagents, chemicals, and consumables.
- Participate in safety training and drills.
- Provide feedback on process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Basic knowledge of scientific principles and laboratory techniques.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions precisely.
- Strong communication skills and a team player.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
