About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high‑quality rope inspection, maintenance, and associated service activities across our expanding European operations.
- Provide clear technical reporting, defect identification, and recommendations to support asset integrity and safe operations.
- Represent the company professionally on client sites, maintaining strong safety culture and customer focus at all times.
- Perform on-site rope services including: Rope inspection, Rope installation, replacement and removal, Splicing and socketing support, Rope handling, reeving and tensioning.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in steel wire rope inspection
- Strong knowledge of steel wire rope construction, failure modes and inspection criteria
- Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain valid offshore survival certification (e.g., BOSIET or GWO) and the associated fitness‑to‑work medical required for offshore travel
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Experience with relevant inspection standards (e.g. ISO, EN, OEM guidelines)
