About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the operations and processes of lab
Keep a safe working space in mechanical lab
Guarantee on-time delivery of lab testing requests
Sustain & improve the quality of testing reports
Investment planning and implementation
Develop and provide expertise about characterization and performance evaluation techniques for products/materials
Develop and share in-depth knowledge on the relation between mechanical testing and production processes and on the relevance of specific properties for applications and on the measurement of these properties
Management of test method development projects in the lab
Build up expertise in core expertise domains
Test method expertise development
Contribute to RR innovation initiative
Lead/participate in RR innovation initiatives in different stages
Performance management of team members
Talent development
Regular communication with subordinates

Requirements

What you’ll need

Managerial experience in relate positions
Familiar with test methods and lab operation
Fluent in English - reading/writing/speaking
Holder of a MSc or PhD of relevant science/engineering majors (physics, chemistry, material, mechanics, etc.)
