About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement personalized behavior intervention plans focused on behavioral improvements and skill development through positive reinforcement and repetition
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy using BCBA-designed skill acquisition and behavior-reduction protocols
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies
  • Collect and graph daily data
  • Write objective session notes according to regulatory and company standards
  • Receive and apply ongoing training, supervision, and feedback from the BCBA/manager
  • Communicate with the BCBA, parents, and caregivers about client progress
  • Assist with caregiver training as directed
  • Follow company procedures and legal/regulatory requirements for client safety, documentation, data handling, confidentiality, and HIPAA
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold client dignity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma is required
  • Experience working with children is preferred
  • RBT certification in good standing is preferred
  • Ability to comply with practice policies, procedures, and RBT ethical guidelines
  • Must have a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet to bring to work
  • Ability to perform physical and repetitive activities including prolonged standing and sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Satisfactory manual dexterity, auditory, and visual skills
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to or more than 100 lbs
  • Must follow client safety, documentation, data handling, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements
