About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement personalized behavior intervention plans focused on behavioral improvements and skill development through positive reinforcement and repetition
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy using BCBA-designed skill acquisition and behavior-reduction protocols
Implement behavior intervention strategies
Collect and graph daily data
Write objective session notes according to regulatory and company standards
Receive and apply ongoing training, supervision, and feedback from the BCBA/manager
Communicate with the BCBA, parents, and caregivers about client progress
Assist with caregiver training as directed
Follow company procedures and legal/regulatory requirements for client safety, documentation, data handling, confidentiality, and HIPAA
Maintain professionalism and uphold client dignity

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma is required
Experience working with children is preferred
RBT certification in good standing is preferred
Ability to comply with practice policies, procedures, and RBT ethical guidelines
Must have a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet to bring to work
Ability to perform physical and repetitive activities including prolonged standing and sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
Satisfactory manual dexterity, auditory, and visual skills
Ability to occasionally lift or move up to or more than 100 lbs
Must follow client safety, documentation, data handling, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements
