About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

After our successful company-wide SAP implementation (S/4HANA), we are looking for you to support stabilization, optimization, and further development of the system in the area of central merchandise and assortment planning as well as allocation of our trading goods.
You will be responsible for shaping and designing our inventory management processes and corresponding tools.
In addition, you will be an important knowledge carrier and central knowledge broker for our business units (e.g., Planning & Allocation / Brands / Logistics / SCM).
You will be involved in national and international strategic projects and may independently lead subprojects.
You will maintain close communication with all relevant departments and interfaces across the value chain.
In close collaboration with IT, you will work on designing and continuously improving the automated inventory management system and various planning tools (e.g., SAP HANA, CAR, Analytics).
Additionally, you will be responsible for gathering requirements for future systems.
You will independently conduct international trainings, including in English.
You can expect a challenging role with diverse tasks in a highly motivated team with flat hierarchies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A successfully completed degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
Professional experience in a merchandise-management-related field (preferably retail) and experience in merchandise/assortment planning as well as allocation management are an advantage
Strong numerical understanding and analytical skills
Good knowledge of Supply Chain Management
Experience in consulting or project management would be desirable
Confident user of MS Office and experience with inventory management systems (SAP)
Fluent German and very good English skills
