About the role

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and developer platforms
  • Contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation of platform engineering solutions
  • Build cloud-agnostic platform solutions
  • Design and maintain automated systems across infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and supporting platform services
  • Implement and support monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure platform reliability and observability
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to enable smooth application delivery
  • Support services post-deployment
  • Create and maintain clear documentation

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and platform engineering concepts
  • Professional experience writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code in one or more programming languages (e.g. C#, Go, Python, or similar)
  • Experience designing and implementing backend services, APIs, and integration patterns (including RESTful APIs and microservices)
  • Good understanding of software design principles, testing practices (unit, integration, automation), and quality standards
  • Experience building or contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automated developer workflows
  • Familiarity with containerised application development and deployment
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage priorities, work across multiple initiatives, and deliver reliably
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and pick up new tools, technologies, and ways of working.
