About the role
- Identify and acquire new customers and markets for the steering machines segment
- Maintain and support the existing customer base
- Manage international sales projects for the steering machines segment and work closely with the Sales and Engineering departments
- Develop sales strategies, conduct market and competitor analyses, and negotiate proposals
- Represent the company and its products at national and international trade fairs and conferences
Requirements
- Completed degree in a technical field (e.g., naval architecture, mechanical engineering, or equivalent)
- At least 5 years' experience in the maritime sector (preferably shipbuilding), with experience selling complex, technical products that require explanation
- Good German and English skills (at least B2 level)
- Good IT skills (MS Office and SharePoint)
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills combined with technical understanding
- Proactive working style with a passion for sales and technology
