About the role

  • Identify and acquire new customers and markets for the steering machines segment
  • Maintain and support the existing customer base
  • Manage international sales projects for the steering machines segment and work closely with the Sales and Engineering departments
  • Develop sales strategies, conduct market and competitor analyses, and negotiate proposals
  • Represent the company and its products at national and international trade fairs and conferences

Requirements

  • Completed degree in a technical field (e.g., naval architecture, mechanical engineering, or equivalent)
  • At least 5 years' experience in the maritime sector (preferably shipbuilding), with experience selling complex, technical products that require explanation
  • Good German and English skills (at least B2 level)
  • Good IT skills (MS Office and SharePoint)
  • Strong communication and assertiveness skills combined with technical understanding
  • Proactive working style with a passion for sales and technology
