Becht is looking for mid-career Civil Structural Engineer who wants to take the next step in their technical career.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering or closely related discipline
5+ years’ civil and structural experience in the refining, petrochemical or power generation industries
Foundation and structural design experience
Knowledge of plant layout and operations
Foundation / reinforced concrete design
Experience working with refinery/plant equipment (tanks, plate structures, boilers, stacks, tabletop structures, fired heater incasing, etc.)
Professional and/or Structural Engineering License
Experience with the application of industry codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, ACI
Experience with field troubleshooting, repairs and system walk-downs and the ability to travel to customer sites.
Experience with turnaround support, planning & execution.
Experience with the commercial software AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, Risa, or SAP2000.
Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and mechanics.
Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
