About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Completion of monthly local executive reporting pack and monthly Belgium business reporting
  • Oversee capital expenditure planning and tracking
  • Oversee inventory accounting and valuation
  • Manage obsolete and slow-moving inventory provisions to improve inventory turnover and working capital
  • Provide monthly reporting for decision making – with the assistance of business Analyst
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure month end is completed in a timely matter
  • Assist in tax compliance and regulatory standards
  • Lead final year end accounts and annual audit
  • Ensure accuracy via cycle counts and annual stock takes
  • Complete forecast and budgeting process with Finance Director Oceania
  • Develop and maintain standard costing models
  • Perform and maintain variance analysis (material, labour, overhead
  • Monitor KPIs such as OEE, scrap, yield, and efficiency
  • Drive cost reduction and operational improvements
  • Support product costing and margin analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • CA/CPA qualified with a relevant professional qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in chartered accounting or industry experience
  • Strong experience in manufacturing finance and cost accounting
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and auditing
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Able to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure with resilience and reliability
