About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead strategic initiatives and transformation projects from inception through to implementation
Act as a sparring partner to senior management, shaping strategic priorities and translating them into clear roadmaps
Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor dynamics, and innovation to identify growth opportunities
Develop and validate strategic business cases, including market analysis, financial modeling, risk assessment, ROI evaluation, and data visualization and presentation
Assess growth opportunities such as organic expansion, synergetic collaboration, strategic partnerships, M&A, to drive market entry into new geographies, customer segments, or verticals
Support post-merger integration and ensure realization of expected synergies where applicable
Ensure initiatives are embedded in the organization structure, through governance, change management, and performance tracking
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, such as consultants and potential acquisition targets
Travel internationally up to 25% depending on project needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in engineering, economics, business administration, applied economics, or equivalent through experience
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in hands-on project & strategy execution, corporate strategy, or business development
Demonstrated experience in building and leading synergetic business cases
Proven track record in managing cross-functional projects within a corporate environment
Proficient in project management and change management
Fluent in English and Dutch
