Key responsibilities & impact

Support and execute financial due diligence engagements
Analyze financial and operational data to identify risks and opportunities
Perform financial statement analysis including ratio and trend analysis
Document, assess, and test internal controls over financial reporting
Conduct walkthroughs and interviews with client personnel
Prepare clear working papers, analyses, reports, and client deliverables
Assist in planning and executing internal audit and risk advisory engagements
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
Completed or pursuing CPA, MAcc, CFA, CIA or similar credential
2–5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, audit, financial due diligence, transaction services, or financial advisory
Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis techniques
Experience in financial statement analysis, trend analysis, ratio analysis, and interpreting financial results
Experience assessing and testing internal controls or audit engagements is an asset
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
