About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct legal research and assist in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents as directed
Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
Coordinate with clients, experts, and medical providers to gather information and assist in developing case strategies
Support and collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants assigned to litigation matters
Maintain regular communication with clients on behalf of the senior attorney to keep them informed and supported
Assist in settlement negotiations and pre-trial preparations under the senior attorney’s guidance
Maintain case files and documentation in compliance with legal and firm standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active California Bar license
1+ years of litigation experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred
Strong oral and written advocacy skills
Experience handling depositions, mediations, and motion work
Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Client-centered approach with strong interpersonal communication
