About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, modernize, and grow a portfolio of federal records management contracts.
- Accountable for contract execution, portfolio performance, client confidence, and staff performance.
- Stabilizes and improves contract and portfolio performance using disciplined program management practices.
- Maintains a portfolio-level view of delivery health, including priorities, resources, and financial performance.
- Earns trusted-advisor status with federal clients by translating records and compliance requirements.
- Expands contract portfolio and helps bring in new contracts through consultative engagement.
- Modernizes records management delivery by integrating NARA requirements and performance analytics.
- Builds a high-performing team culture with clear roles, effective communication, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, information management, library/information science, records management, public administration, legal studies, data management, information systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 6 years managing federal programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing federal government contracts.
- Experience applying portfolio management practices.
- PMP certification, or active progress toward PMP.
- Strong working knowledge of federal records management requirements.
- Working knowledge of FOIA and Privacy Act operations.
- Working knowledge of litigation support or eDiscovery concepts.
- Demonstrated understanding of how records management intersects with ERM/EHR platforms.
- Proven consultative client presence with the ability to brief executives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
