About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the follow-up and development of existing business flows with BBVA Frankfurt clients (mainly large German groups)
Identify and generate new Trade Finance transactions with clients with the constant aim of optimizing profitability for the bank while controlling risks
Offer clients all the products handled within the department, including: working capital solutions (factoring and supply chain finance), documentary credits, guarantees and standby letters of credit, structured trade finance products
Proactively follow up clients by identifying their needs and providing them with the most appropriate advice and solutions (Advisory approach)
Promote a sustainable approach to finance with clients, in line with the bank's strategy
Structure trade finance operations, obtain all the required authorizations and ensure the perfect execution of the transactions he/she has generated, in compliance with the Bank's policies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven commercial experience in Trade Finance and Working Capital solutions, with at least 10 years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of the German Trade Finance market and the broader global financial landscape
German: bilingual
English: fluent
Spanish: fluent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (in particular Excel and Powerpoint) in order to produce client pitches and activity reports
Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills
Strong understanding of credit, country, and operational risks
