About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the follow-up and development of existing business flows with BBVA Frankfurt clients (mainly large German groups)
- Identify and generate new Trade Finance transactions with clients with the constant aim of optimizing profitability for the bank while controlling risks
- Offer clients all the products handled within the department, including: working capital solutions (factoring and supply chain finance), documentary credits, guarantees and standby letters of credit, structured trade finance products
- Proactively follow up clients by identifying their needs and providing them with the most appropriate advice and solutions (Advisory approach)
- Promote a sustainable approach to finance with clients, in line with the bank's strategy
- Structure trade finance operations, obtain all the required authorizations and ensure the perfect execution of the transactions he/she has generated, in compliance with the Bank's policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven commercial experience in Trade Finance and Working Capital solutions, with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of the German Trade Finance market and the broader global financial landscape
- German: bilingual
- English: fluent
- Spanish: fluent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (in particular Excel and Powerpoint) in order to produce client pitches and activity reports
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills
- Strong understanding of credit, country, and operational risks
