About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Head of GTB Italy in defining the business strategy business plan and budget.
  • Managing a portfolio of global clients developing client centric solutions to remove or reduce payment risk.
  • Represent BBVA with corporate clients.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities.
  • Monitor and check transaction services and products set up for customers.
  • Draft pitches and review legal documentation of agreements.
  • Negotiate deals and renew credit lines.
  • Liaise and work alongside with other CIB front units.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A master degree in business, finance or related field
  • At least 7 years solid experience in the banking industry mainly with corporate clients with strong background on trade finance and transactional banking products
  • Previous exposure to preparation of credit proposals
  • Strong connection in the local banking industry and leading Corporate clients in Italy
  • Proven business origination and structuring capabilities
  • Highly results driven
  • Excellent communications skills with fluency in English
  • Knowledge in ESG/green product structuring is a plus.
